Java updated to jre 6 for compatibility and faster processing
The VCS system uses java - the computer language of the Internet.
Upgrading to the latest java version was a big exercise -
but provided a lot of new features.....
Java 6 is installed under Visual Classroom Scheduler in Program Files directory.
This means that it does not interfere with existing java versions on your PC.
Microsoft security patches were applied to protect VCS in your system.
Hope you enjoy the new features and write to us if you have some suggestions.
Cheers from the programming team!
We have quite a few more suggestions to implement this year
- so keep an eye on the VCS news.
Your V4.0 licence includes any free updates in 2010 - so you're welcome to ask.
